What I've discovered this week...

This has been one of the worst weeks of my life in terms of events which have rocked my life. Yet, this can be a time of a return to my spirituality, a return I have been having trouble making otherwise. Eckhart Tolle talks about the ups and downs, saying the down times are necessary to grow. Unfortunately, the sad fact is that I return too often to self-reliance which turns to isolation unless events get my attention and force me to turn to God. This can be a gift. Humans may fail us but God never leaves...
